RWC has completed environmental projects in more than 40 U.S. refineries and 13 international refineries.
As an example, conversion of sour water stripper (SWS) water in a refinery to a valuable commodity - steam condensate quality Boiler Feed Water (BFW), resulting in reduction of reverse osmosis (RO) Supply Water quantity and costs.
Combined annual savings from partial RO water replacement to BFW supply and from reduced SWS wastewater loading to the central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) or Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), have led to an attractive projected Return on Investment (ROI) as low as under 2 years for a U.S. refinery client.
